Preparation Instructions:
I would like to thank Misha from San Antonio Texas for allowing us to publish his very own brown sugar peach cobbler recipe. To begin the recipe, please preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next take out a three quart baking dish, and melt all of your softened margarine within it. Once you're done with that step, set the dish aside, and then take out a large saucepan. Add into the saucepan the fresh sliced skinless Georgia peaches, one cup of dark brown sugar, liquid vanilla extract, and cold orange juice. Heat these contents over medium high heat, stirring often until a thick syrupy fruit filling forms. Set the filling aside, then take out a mixing bowl. Add into the mixing bowl one cup of dark brown sugar, fresh ground cinnamon, fresh cold low fat milk, fresh ground nutmeg, self rising flour, ground cloves, and kosher salt. Whip these ingredients together until a rich cobbler batter forms. Pour the batter over the top of your melted margarine, leveling it out with a spoon. Next pour the peach filling over the top of the batter, leveling it out with a spoon also. Your dessert is now ready to bake, and your oven is heated, so slide the cobbler into the oven for forty minutes, or until the surface is golden brown, and the bottom crust is crisp. That's it for this recipe, do check out our other peach cobbler creations.
