Preparation Instructions:
I would like to thank Lucyna from Topeka Kansas for mailing us this appetizing peach cherry recipe. To begin please preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. Next take out a nine by thirteen inch glass baking dish, and then melt your cold salted real butter within it. Once the butter has melted, set the dish aside. Moving along, next take out a large mixing bowl and then sift together one cup of white baker's sugar, gluten free all purpose baking flour, kosher salt, and baking powder. Next whip in the fresh cold lowfat milk until the cobbler batter is smooth and uniform. Moving along, next evenly spread the batter out over the top of the melted butter. Next take out a saucepan, and then add into it the fresh chopped skinless peaches, fresh pitted stemless cherries, one cup of white baker's sugar, fresh squeezed lime juice, and pure liquid vanilla extract. Bring these contents to a boil, stirring often to prevent the cobbler filling from burning. Next evenly pour the saucepan contents over the top of the batter layer. Finally you will want to sprinkle the powdered cinnamon and powdered nutmeg over the top of the dessert. You are now ready to bake the dessert, so slide it into the oven for one full hour, or until outer surface is crisp, and the fruit has started to caramelize.
