Preparation Instructions:
To begin this homemade peach cobbler recipe, please take out a large mixing bowl, and then sift together the white all purpose baking flour, pure baking flour, one tablespoon of white superfine baking sugar, and all of the fine ground table salt. Next take out an electric mixer, and then whip into the flour mix the all vegetable shortening. Once the cobbler base is nice and crumbly, whip in the cold fresh 2% milk. At this point you will want to set aside your electric mixer, and take out a wooden mixing spoon. Next mix into the batter the drained canned sliced peaches, freshly squeezed lime juice, two tablespoons of white superfine baking sugar, the fresh ground cinnamon, and cold unsalted real butter. Once these ingredients have been thoroughly stirred together, pour them into a glass baking dish. Moving along, next level out the cobbler, then slide the dish into the oven to bake at 450 degrees Fahrenheit or 232 degrees Celsius for ten minutes. Next reduce the heat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit or 175 degrees Celsius, and then bake the cobbler at this heat level for twenty five minutes. Once the top of your homemade peach cobbler is golden brown, slide it out of the oven and let it cool for ten minutes before serving. Serve the cobbler warm garnished with a spoonful of Cool Whip whipped cream.
