Preparation Instructions:
I would like to thank Kristin from Vancouver British Columbia for sending us this delicious canned peach cobbler recipe. To get started, please preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit, or 190 degrees Celsius. Next take out a nine by nine inch glass baking dish, and then lightly grease it with butter. Next take out a mixing bowl, and then cream together the cold unsalted real butter and half a cup of white superfine cane sugar. Moving along, next take out a separate mixing bowl, and then sift together the white all purpose baking flour, fine ground kosher salt, and pure baking powder. Once these ingredients are well sifted, mix them into the creamed butter mixture. Beat these ingredients together thoroughly until you have a uniform batter, then gradually stir in the cold fresh 2% milk. You will then want to pour this mixture into your greased baking dish, leveling it out with a mixing spoon. For the next step, evenly spoon the canned sliced peaches with syrup over the top of the cobbler batter. Next sprinkle the peaches with the fresh ground cinnamon and one quarter cup of white superfine cane sugar. Lastly you will want to drizzle the fresh squeezed orange juice over the top of the cobbler. You are ready to cook the canned peach cobbler, so slide it into the oven to bake for fifty five minutes, or until the batter fully rises, and the surface of the dessert turns golden brown. Enjoy this recipe with a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream. Don't forget to bookmark our website.
