My favorite brand of vanilla extract is produced by the Hawaiian Vanilla Company, and is organically grown and produced within the state. The flavor is rich and creamy, and doesn't fade within your baked desserts like other vanilla extracts tend to do. I highly recommend this product, however I am not sure what retailers sale it. I have seen it online before, so do look around the internet for it if you can't find it at your local grocer or speciality shop. One last comment I would like to make on the subject, is that Hawaiian vanilla extracts seem to be the best in the world as far as taste goes. I also like to support domestic companies, and in this case it's effortless to do so.
