Joshua from Memphis Tennessee sent us the following question. He asked what is the best temperature to bake peach cobbler? I have found that the best temperature to bake the dessert dish at is 350 degrees Fahrenheit, or 175 degrees Celsius. This temperature is low enough to allow a deep longer simmer, and it won't dry out the crust. It's also great because it won't burn the cobbler quickly, so you don't have to monitor what's going on in the oven every moment, like you would at 400 degrees Fahrenheit, or 205 degrees Celsius, a temperature I use only when I'm short on time. I don't recall ever baking a cobbler lower than 350 degrees, so I think that is about the bare minimal heat setting your can use. We greatly appreciate the question, please feel free to send us any other peach cobbler related questions that you might have, and we'll publish on this website.
